The Free PDF Printer

For a while now, I have totally shunned the use of windows vista. I found ubuntu more dynamic and flexible for most of the work I do these days, especially for web security and use of system resources. However, I find myself going back to windows for a totally vain reason. the beauty of the office 2007 suite. I simply love the formatting options available in word 2007, and since I mostly do alot of writing now, I find that the more pleasing GUI encourages me and sparks up flames of creativity. Well, one reason that I was so hooked on Open Office (the open source peer of the microsoft office suite) is the one click export to pdf. the sheer practicality of the portable document format is addictive, for reading, for transfering and for printing. So I end up taking all my documents to open office on windows for export to pdf, which is more cumbersome. Well, I stumbled on a free pdf printer, bullzip, which uses the open source program, ghostscript which is a postscript to pdf converter.
of course, there have been pdf printers, so what excites me with this one?
After installing it, i discovered a really detailed configuration panel which even allows me to put a watermark, password as well as permissions on any printed document. Well, I think this singular discovery is capable of increasing my windows time within the next couple of months considerably. How cool is that?
