Listening to the New Nas Album - Untitled [Nigger] was one of the high points last weekend (pun intended). Black President has a sample of Tupac saying 'Although it seems heavensent, we aint ready to have a black president'. I just had a humorous thought. The clamor for a black president of the United States is ages old. The fight for equality and social justice that started with a certain Rosa Parks is escalating into huge proportions (much to the chagrin of the KKK - in the words of Nasir Jones). lol.
Not to make light of the struggle of a cloud of minorities who finally seem to be getting somewhere, or so it seems, I realised that while they crave a black president, I bet a country like Nigeria could do with a white one.
I might have had a couple high points last weekend, but I am totally serious now. We need a white president! The only difference is that it does not matter the colour of the geezer's skin, what matters is that he is
a. white as in clean in character and transparent. Void of the skeletons in his cupboard - a trend that has continuosly kept us enslaved as a country to the blackest of the black!

b. white as in, let us have a leader who can command the respect of the world. Even if he is an impulsive war starter always eager to 'bush' the button.

I do not even want to go into defense of this. I am not a racsist, forward or reverse. Its simply a hee haw thought. Maybe we should give Pat Utomi a chance?
